Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of digital technology, particularly self-learning and virtual reality, in improving the quality of the learning process. The study adopted a structured research methodology and focused on the Faculty of Education at the University of Tripoli as a specific research unit, selecting a sample of students and faculty members. The results of the study showed that students and faculty members prefer using online course platforms as a primary learning tool, while emphasizing the importance of smart technologies such as self-learning and virtual reality in improving the quality of education. In light of these findings, the study recommended the need to develop self-learning platforms and enhance the use of smart technologies in education, along with providing continuous training and awareness for faculty members and students. These recommendations represent essential steps toward improving the learning experience and the quality of education in the era of digital transformation.
